Hyangsa(享祀) (a sacrifice ceremony) is a religious service in a shrine where lay in state 'Bulcheonwi'(who performed meritorious deeds in the country). The Changdong memorial hall is aligned for Kim taek sui, which is designated 78th of the tangible cultural properties in Jeolla Buk-do.
The purpose of this study tries to find the ritual procedures and Dress and its ornament in 'Hyangsarye' for researching Hyangsa(享祀) for those who do deal with the Changdong memorial hall.
The researcher participated in the spring Hyangsa(享祀) of the Changeong memorial hall on 12th of April. 2009 for researching, examined the ritual procedures, dress and its ornaments and the things needed in the sacrificial service, studying a literature and meeting for 1: 1 discussion with Kim chul jung who is Kim taek sule grandchild.
The result of study is as follows:
First. in some Hayangsa, there are many case to make the sacrificial robes in which is not fit a level or a raised level for a person in charge of ceremony.
Second, the full dress of Hayangsa in the Changdong memorial hall is a well fitted formal dress that one wears 'Sejoda' and 'Haeng-Jeon' with 'Dope' and Yugeon(hat) in according with the nature in a confucian of Kim taek sule that he will provide it when a formal dress is fitted newly in the future.
Third, Hayangsa in every local memorial hall has a high possible application to develop as a Cultural event as well tourism resource.
