In this paper, “self concept” is the main angle of three aspects to make the focal points stand out.
The first, the researcher used an example Momotaro(桃太?) to discuss the Oriental fairy tale, “I-self” in expectations.
The second, the researcher discussed the topic of fairies, those to be the examples and statements of the Western fairy tales, to explain “human of the self” impact.
The third, the researcher made use of Sheldon Cashdan's theory of the witch or die or survival, to debate about the fairy tale of “self-transcendence”.
In the meanwhile, the study is the particular significance to the education of staff, who can understand the “self concept” meaning of children's growth. And then, our children would obtain more considerable help.
