The purpose of this study is to examine play's feature discovered in process of fairy tale reading and to present contents of fairy tale reading instruction.A child grows into new subject through discovering a new world and understanding the world. The goal of children's literature reading must be not to analyze, interpret and criticize literature but to enjoy reading literature. Reading literature is a play that children enjoy. If a play have a feature of serious and creative activity, it is necessary to teach children how to read literature as a play. This study focus on children's growth in reading a fairy tale as a play. while reading a fairy tale, a child can build up narrative identity. A play in reading a fairy tale come out interesting in text, process satisfied desire of a child's reader through text and self-satisfaction of a child.Because the children is the subject in reading education of a fairy tale, we consider child's stance and standpoint. And we must make an effort them to be able to join in voluntary and active reading.Key Words
