The basic purport Capital Market Integration Act is aimed at the promotion of financial innovation and free competition via deregulating the laws and strengthening the investors" protection. As intended to bring forth the financial big bang, it is necessary that the basic framework be maintained accordingly as before in the capital market. The final end for domestic market is to bring it to completion, and therefore, the practice in system and governing regulations should be consistent to that of Capital Market Integration Act.
If the discrepancies keep lasting over a long period of time between the two, Capital Market Integration Act and Securities Exchange Act, some negative effects are expected on the competitive foundation among securities companies, principle of equity about deregulation, stability for securities system and such, which possibly necessitates the subsequent measures shortly.
