Report Errors
The author examined how SNSs (Facebook and Twitter) have influenced Korean political culture and elections so far, and discussed the issues related to power of SNSs. Sometimes, SNS is an effective tool for social mobilization, but sometimes, it disseminates wrong information rapidly. Facing a new era in which many young people are highly involved with several SNSs, it is necessary to investigate how people mobilize various resources on Facebook and Twitter. At the end of paper, the author showed his concerns about a number of side effects which can be caused by SNS, and recommendations were offered for the future research.
