The purpose of this study was to analyze what are the concerns of teachers and how they devote themselves to improve their teaching as a microscopic access route for the development of expertise in teaching physical education. Also an attempt was made to examine how it has an effect on the intention of the improving teaching as well. For this purpose, 220 teachers who took inservice training in physical education and 500 teachers of middle or high schools in Kyonggi-do, All the 720 teachers were sampled using a purposive sampling method. The method of inquiry was a questionnaire. Through a searching Factor analysis, the collected data was enforced the analysis of descriptive statistics and multiple regression using the SPSSWIN Ver 10.0. The conclusions are as follows. First, the degree of awareness on teaching concerns of physical education teachers was rather higher than average. While they were well aware of effect on teacher concern and students concern with considerable positiveness, their awareness of the self concerns was least among the variables. Second, the degree of awareness on improving teaching of physical education teachers was rather higher than average. In particular, the intention of estimation oneself has understood to be of importance but, the intention of developing instruction ahs been low relatively. Third, the teaching concern had significantly influenced the intention of the improving teaching statistically. In part, the effective concern and the concern of self have not had an influence on it.
