The object of this paper analyze the meaning about ‘Manju’ patterning shown up in his colony second half of the year history novel. This shows the visual angle about the identity of the writer found in the history narrative and discussion. The event which it experiences of anti－chinese riots indicates the colonial awareness. And in China, it felt the feeling of the sublimity. This was materialized in the narrative. This experience showed up in Kim Dong －in history novel with the progress of the narrative as ‘Manju’ configuration differently.
[Jeseongdae] points out as the third of person to be wide of the history of Goguryo and territory. When [Janchok] wins the Liaodong Peninsula win to the real near the end of Goryeo Dynasty with the central event and progresses the narrative.『Daesuyang』is the work in which ‘Suyang’ shows the succession of throne process of the ‘Dangjong’. The scene traveler in the progress of the narration to the Ming dinasty is inserted. In this process, ‘Manju’ continent is described. 『Baekmagang』 is evaluated as the pro－japanese work. However, it praises highly through the horse of Japanese with the weather of Koguryo person to be great.
In the history narration, chinese configuration shows the identity of the writer about the discussion. Meanwhile, this analysis extends the meaning of his history novel.
