This study tried to suggest improvement plans of the initial national pension social insurance support system by examining the present condition, roles, and issues of social insurance support system, reviewing overseas examples, conducting surveys of persons in charge of practical business and applicants for it, and drawing implications.
This study suggested the operation plans of the social insurance contribution subsidy program. First, it suggested the plan to support maximum 50% to users and low-wage workers in workplace-based insured persons who are less than 150% of the minimum wage. Second, it suggested the plan to support individually insured persons based on standard monthly income on the premise that the ability to grasp income is improved. At this moment, in case of farmers and fishermen, the review to keep the system to support fixed amounts will be necessary.
