The purpose of this study is to recognize the background and objective socio-economic status of professional soccer player in Korea, to analyse their process of intergenerational social mobility and obtaining position, their consciousness of social stratum and the possibility of stratum mobility through sports, The samplings covered the all of professional soccer player in Korea. We are helped from each team coach and have sended them the envelopes that have investigating format sheets, the key to answers, the total guide and returning envelope by post. We have let them write in the way of self-administration. We had 310 returned sheet (97.2%) and got 263 effective samplings (84.8%). The used program of this material is SPSS 8.0 statistic program. In order to recognize and analyse the objective socio-economic status of professional soccer player in Korea, we have used the Frequency Analysis by socio-emnomic status point. To their process of intergenerational social mobility, especially to the process of obtaining status and effecting-variables, we have camed out the Analysis of multiple recurring and process. According to above process, we had the results. It is followed; l. In many cases, the objective socio-economic status is belonged to the high stratum. 2. In the process of status obtaining of professional soccer player in Korea, the effect factor of accomplishment is absolutelv higher than belonged factor.
