The effects of massage are to help the circulation of blood and lymph, to regulate the function of nervous system, to recover muscle fatigue, to prevent sports injuries, and to make the joints more flexible. Meridian is the pathways of "Ki" known as the vital energe. Ki is distributed throughout the body by an intricate web of subtle meridian. Twelve "primary meridian" connect the 6 yin organs and the 6 yang organs and flow near the surface in pathways on the side of the head and trunk and along the limbs. The six yin organs are the Lung, Spleen, Heart, Kidneys, Liver, and Pericardium. The six yang organs are the Large Intestine, Stomach, Small Intestine, Bladder, Gall Bladder, and Triple Burner. Eight extra meridians circulate a little deeper, intersecting with the twelve primary meridians and acting as reservoirs of Ki. The purpose of this study is to find out the effective Sportsmassage methods, stimulating fourteen major meridians in the body based an acupuntural theories. The results are as follows : 1. To massage the whole meridians of Arm three yin that flow through the inside of arms from the shoulders to the finger tips. 2. To massage the whole meridians of Arms three yang that flow through the outside of arms from the fingertips to the shoulders. 3. To massage intensively the parts next to the fingernails where jung hyul of arm three yin meridians and arm three yang meridians are located. 4. To massage the whole meridians of Leg three yin that flow through the inside of legs from the toe to the upper body. 5. To massage the whole meridians of leg three yang that flow through the outside of legs from the upper body to the toes. 6. To massage intensively the parts next to the toenails where jung hyul of Leg three meridians and Leg three yang meridians are located.
