The purpose of this studies was to present fundamental data which could contribute to improvement of quality of life of secondary school teachers by analyzing the relationship among participation in sport activities, attitudes toward performing their duties and satisfaction with their jobs. For these purposes, data were collected from 700 secondary school teachers in Kwangju and Chollanamdo. The attitude toward performing their duties was divided into 3 variables(a faith, pride as a teacher and an interest in one`s school) and the satisfaction with one`s job was divided into 4 variables(conditions of employment, duties, satisfaction with job and satisfaction with position). The results were as follows. 1. Sex was significantly related to their faiths, interests in their school, specialities of their jobs and satisfaction with their positions. 2. Participation in sport activities was significantly related to pride as a teacher, their faiths, interests in their schools, satisfaction with their jobs and satisfaction with their positions. 3. A period of participation in sport activities was significantly related to their faiths. 4. Frequency of participation in sport activities was not related to any variables of both the attitudes toward performing their duties and the satisfaction with their jobs. 5. Intensity of sport activities was significantly related to pride as a teacher, their schools, and satisfaction with their positions except specialities.
