The purpose of this study was to identify the causal relationship between the intention of participation and the perceived risk factors. Also this study was to look at the mediating effect of information seeking behavior to participation intention in marine sport activities. To reveal the this study total 233 questionnaires was used in this study and conducting convenient sampling method in part of non-probability sampling method. the questionnaires consisted of two parts as endogenous(information seeking behavior and participation intention) variables and exogenous(perceived risk factors; health risk, finance risk, traffic risk, environment risk, facility & function risk) variables. To conduct this study the hypothesized structure equation model(SEM) was used by AMOS the result of this study as following; First, finance risk factor was statistically negative causal relationship with participation intention in marine sport activities and the other factors was not statistically significant however facility & function risk, traffic risk, environment risk were effected on participation intention negatively. Second, the perceived risk factors was not statistically causal relationship with information seeking behavior. Facility & function risk, health risk, traffic risk, and environment risk were positively effected on information seeking behavior however finance risk was effected on information seeking behavior negatively. Lastly, the information seeking behavior was statistically positive causal relationship with participation intention in marine sport activities.
