With the belief that war is not inevitable, I argue that we can create the peaceful world without war by critically reflecting the main causes of war, power relationships, and the results of war. War is in itself anti-life. Based on this belief, I will articulate feminist theological perspective of war and peace, study the reasons and results of war, and suggest alternative ways to oppose war and to purse peace. There are three considerations of peace and war in feminist theology. First, I examine the main causes of war and the concept of peace through the traditional understandings of war and peace. Second, I emphasize the biblical teachings that peace is the fruit of justice. Third, I suggest feminist understanding of peace from a gender sensitive perspective. Feminist insights clarify the reality of violation of women`s human rights, poverty, and ecological crisis by war and its causes such as the military and political hegemony of the USA, the american military -industrial complex, the american war politics and male heroism ect. In this paper, I finally suggest feminist insights and alternative ways of life for the peaceful world without war. I propose to expand the study and education about peace for life, and to build solidarity for taking away sexual violence against women and sexual slave trade. I also suggest the necessity of social welfare and ecological care, the importance of peace theology for justice and equality, and support and expansion of "peace movement from the bottom" as an alternative group for peace. This suggestion is the confession of Christian faith that believes Jesus who taught and lived for peace in the history of despair and suffering and is peace itself.
