The purpose of this study is to investigate which of the various teaching techniques of Focus on Form are effective to teaching nominal clause. To do this, research was conducted on the pedagogical effect of input processing and dictogloss on the grammar items ``-음``, ``-기``, ``-는 것``, ``-는지`` which are listed to teach nominal clause. These two techniques are same in that they focus on language form explicitly but are different in that one is input-based one and the other is output-based one. In this study, input processing was found more effective than dictogloss when teaching ``-음``, ``-기``, ``-는 것``, ``-는지`` whose grammatical function is similar to the other items but each has different usage and teacher intend to make learners understand the differences between them. Learners`` consciousness about the difference between these items became sufficiently higher after input processing treatment than after dictogloss treatment and this higher consciousness seemed to lead learners to attempt to use the language forms. In terms of grammatical knowledge, both groups improved in grammar judgement test but improvement in the score of input processing group is higher than that of dictogloss group. In addition, the input processing group attempted to use more ``-음``, ``-기`` than dictogloss group.
