This paper discusses on the An Jaehong’s analysis of Korean Numeral Words. An Jaehong insisted that Korean native numeral words, such as ‘Hana’, ‘Dul’, ‘Set’... ‘On’, ‘Zumun’, ‘Gol’, ‘Jyal’, reflected the ancient Koreans’ thoughts towards cosmos and political world. An Jaehong thought that the systemof numeral words were not made disorderly. He reckoned that the extension courses of numeral words reflected the expending prosess of ancient Koreans toward the awareness of cosmos and political community
He asserted that numaral words represented the idea-material dualism, welfare democracy and the flexible realism of the ancient Koreans. An Jaehong thought that the truth is new forever and the wisdoms of ancient Koreans are useful for now. He created the political theory of Sin-Minjokjuwi (Neo-nationalism) on the basis of analysis of ancient Korean political philosophy. And He pursued national integration and independent nation state with his Sin-Minjokjuwi ideology. Sin-Minjokjuwi ideology was one of the representative ideologies in the History of Korean political thoughts.
