To compare and analyze this thesis, Respiratory circulation function by normal walking and power walking at suitab le speed 5.5km/h and 6.6km/h of walking, Twenty male university students were made cardiopulmonary exercise testi ng on treadmill during 20minutes. The result of measurement, between normal walking and power walking heart rates, ventilation, oxygen consumption, respiratory exchange rate, and energy expenditure, runs as follows. The measurement result of heart rates about normal walking and power walking, power walking is found statistically significantly higher than normal walking at 5.5km/h and 6.5km/h. The measurement result of ventilation quantity about normal walking a nd power walking, power walking is found statistically significantly higher than normal walking at 5.5km/h and 6.5k m/h. The measurement result of oxygen consumption about normal walking and power walking, power walking is found statistically significantly higher than normal walking at 5.5km/h and 6.5km/h. The measurement result of in the case of 6.5km/h, power walking is found statistically significantly than normal walking. As the result of this thesis, respiratory circulation function and energy expenditure at power walking is higher than normal walking in speed of same treadmill not given gradient. For performing the power walking, if being walking with arms shaking back and forward, it increased much more heart rates, ventilation, oxygen consumption, respiratory exchange rate, and energy expenditure by having activation upper body muscles recruit. for that reason, power walking being able to be helped weight control of overweight people, to keep up and to be promoted health can be referred to as valuable sports at life sports.
