The purpose of this thesis is to discuss other people-oriented ethicality as looking into a speaking method and an emotion, sorrow, found in self-narrative by Kim Yu-jeong. The self-narrative by Kim Yu-jeong has chosen some ambiguous, uncertain method of speaking rather than a transparent, one-way method. In those novels, main characters as lethargic features out of condition would expose themselves only through an ``unreliable narrator`` as they never talk themselves. Those narrators are considered either ignorant features who are not capable of providing correct information or incomplete observers who do not have an ability to control the narrative. As working on the structure of ventriloquism mixed with statements of those unreliable narrators, Kim Yu-jeong manipulates others into regarding himself as the other, making his personal images ambiguous. That eventually leads Kim Yu-jeong to make himself seen only in relationships with others as he is not described in some fixed texts. There, this emotion, ``sorrow``, originates from an attitude to accept not only the incompleteness of oneself but also the interdependence on other people. When it comes to sorrow, the features of Kim Yu-jeong try to take in this emotion as something that they could expect everyday as keeping themselves sorrowful rather than consider it something to be overcome. Such universality and durability of sorrow become an emotional origin to form the ethical attitude found in the novels by Kim Yu-jeong.
