The purpose of this study is to explore effective teaching methods write criticism. For this first look at the features of the theoretical examination and criticism of the PBL, through which looked at the availability of PBL in writing criticism. And I saw it as a premise, designed by the criticism writing teaching and learning methods Using the PBL applying to college writing classes.
In analyzing the practices applied educational model presented in this study was effective as follows: First, learning attitudes in that specific progress in each learning stage the learner-centered learning actively, had a positive impact on proactive change.Second, it could be expected to improve the non-finish process of reflection on the nature of issues starting from structuring, writing skills reflect on the past in the sense that their own writing and watching for improvements can be recognized again the important details in writing.
Third, the process goes to the center of cooperative learning is to experience a variety of perspectives and opinions to broaden the students background knowledge, and has contributed to extend the time. And writing a criticism based on the contents built through this process could enhance logical and critical thinking skills. Finally, aware of the ‘problem’ that through the entire PBL exactly, was going through the process in a variety of ways to solve expect a problem-solving skills and communication skills.
