The purpose of this study is to examine teachers' experiences of accidents in early childhood educational institutes and to analyze the differences in relation to their background factors. The subjects were 275 teachers who were working in early childhood educational institute such as kindergartens and child care centers in Seoul and Gyeonggi Province. The collected data were analyzed by frequency, percentile, and Chi-square analysis using SPSS 17.0 program. The results were as follows. First, 50.9% of early childhood teachers got injured in early childhood educational institutes. Second, early childhood teachers' experiences of accidents were significantly different based on the type of institutes as well as age and career of the teachers.
