The purpose of this study is to establish the function adjustment and cooperation establishment among the agencies related to the employment service of the students with disabilities in order to revitalize the labor market inflow of students with disabilities. Especially, we focused on reviewing ways to establish and cooperate with the function and scope of each institutional to avoid the duplication of service among institutions that recently been established.
The research method is as follows: First, the service system of major institutions providing employment support services for students with disabilities such as Ministry of Education, Ministry of Employment and Labor, Ministry of Health and welfare, etc. Through this, we tried to provide the basic information for analyzing the cooperation system among the related agencies by comparing functions and roles for each department, collectively covering various service systems scattered by each department.
In the case of Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Employment and Labor reviewd the Work Together Center, the job in school, and the Ministry of Health and Welfare in the community. The Ministry of Employment and Labor’s Developmental Disabilities Training Center, which are expected to function in the future, will also be included in the review.
Second, the analysis of employment service inflows of students with disabilities. In order to analyze the data, various internal statistical data and relevant laws and regulations announced by the government related vocational education institutions and the government were utilized and the internal data accumulated by the on-site agencies of each government department were used to analyze actual utilization situation. And the actual use data were obtained. At this time, students with disabilities were defined as those who participated in special education, special class, general class high school curriculum, participated in major, or who were about to graduate from special education.
