The at home ageds welfare service in Korea may be regarded as to contribute to implementation of filial piety in the modern sense since it is the service enables the aged to stay longer with his (or her) families and the community as much as possible by reinforcing the aged protective functions especially by the family. If the at home aged welfare service was born as an alternative of off-facility in the advanced welfare countries, the argument on settlement of moral and policy means ideology about at home aged welfare service has been brought since the aged welfare service at home has been developed as a policy means to supplement this subject to gradually difficult by support within the family of the aged due to degeneration of social participation or the family function by care giver and setback of respect for the aged and filial piety for parents by us here in Korea. However, in the advanced welfare nations the off-facility campaign has been taken place and the at home welfare services are being strengthened because of the protection at facility was to isolate the ageds from families or their friends and also is inefficient in the economic aspect and therefore, our country also attempts for policy at home ageds welfare service from such veins. However, the governmental support to the at home ageds welfare service is yet insufficient and securing for manpower of voluntary servicemen who are desirous for the home service is not easy under the circumstance since there are too many issues to be solved for settlement of home helper services in Korea. Besides this the recognition of the home servicemen project is very low and taking into consideration that the tendency to strongly show `sense of refusal to receive help from others than one`s family` by the ordinary ageds in general one of the greatest issues to be overcome in settlement course of the home helper services may be said as public report on roles and functions of the home helper services. For this propose the related agency to at home ageds welfare service and the Governmental department concerned must actively promote pan-national PR & information introducing programs for use of the home servicemen`s services for correct recognition of the home servicemen`s services jointly and to enhance efficiency by organizing at home ageds welfare service council in the community for this and prevent waste of resources and to maximize securing for professionalism and must minimize doubleness of service and waste of the resources.
