Today, doing to the medical and living environmental improvement the average life span has been extended, but the elderly has been bed-confined and gotten dementia, diease, and weakness because they has been fragile maintain their everyday life without the support of their family or society. This study is about Home Care Nursing Service for Elderly which is implementing as a part of Home Care Service. There are two kinds of Home Care Services in hospitals and health centers in Korea In Japan Home Care Nursing for Elderly has been implemented since 1991 by the Elderly Health Law that was established in 12. The main propose of this study is to introduce the service for home aged through critical examination about Japanese Horne Care Nursing Service which is institutionally systematized. In Japan, this service is considerably matured but still have several problems such as the overlapping between this service and the job of care-workers` and the shortness of man-power. The significant implications from this service in Japan are as follows. (1) We need to establish satre Health and Welfare Office as Welfare Office in Japan. (2) The related subjects such as the Introduction of Social Welfare, the Introduction of Physical Therapy, and the Aged Welfare have to be included in the curriculum in 3-year nurse course and a year community nurse course for systematic education. (3) Home Care Nursing Service must be practiced consistently through institutional systemati2ation and integration.
