This study was to examine the structural relationships among chef``s authentic leadership, job engagement, job performance, teamwork, and turnover intention. For these purposes, the authors developed several hypotheses and collected data from 243 cooks of hotel restaurants in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do. The data were analyzed using frequence, reliability, and confirmatory factor analysis, and SEM(structural equation modeling) with SPSS/WIN 18.0 and AMOS 20.0. The findings can be summarized as follows: First, authentic leadership had positive effects on job engagement and job performance. Second, job engagement significantly influenced on job performance. Third, job engagement had a positive effect on teamwork. Fourth, job engagement had a significantly negative effect on turnover intention. Fifth, job performance affected teamwork. Sixth, job performance had a negative effect on turnover intention. In the conclusion part, these empirical findings were discussed and then theoretical and practical implications as well as limitations were provided.
