Purpose: Analyze research trends on the hardness of people with intellectual disabilities through national thesis and journal analysis associated with mild intellectual disabilities by 2015 from 2000. Methods: we analyzed the thesis 126 and journal 89 associated with mild intellectual disability results are as follows. Results: First, Studies showed an increasing trend since 2010, showed a rapid increase since 2014. Second, In research method, Although Studies carried out various research methods experimental study had the largest proportion of 170(79%). Third, the subjects of the study involved a wide range of target from preschool children to adults. And the highest rate had elementary school upper grades. Fourth, the independent variables of the study (presentation program) accounted for a high proportion in the education and treatment programs of 140(65%). Fifth, the dependent variables(effectiveness of the program) of the study accounted for the highest percentage language area of 88. And emotional area had 42; social area had 40. Sixth, the sub-items of the dependent variables(effectiveness of the program) the language area is divided into 29 sub-items. Conclusions: Through this finding a more sustainable research is needed for mild intellectual disabilities and suggest that this is necessary to carry out more various ways in addition to experimental research studies. In particular, we will need help to lead a appropriate school life through a study of preschool mild intellectual disabilities.
