Report Errors
The purpose of this study was to examine the influence of Sustainable Development-oriented Creativity Character Education Program on young children`s environmental sensitivity and respectful recognition of life. A total 40 children (20 children in the experimental group and, 20 children in the control group) enrolled in a kindergarten in Chungcheongbuk-do participated. Sustainable Development-oriented Creativity Character Education Program was conducted 16 times for 8 weeks on the experimental group. The collected data were analyzed by analysis of covariate(ANCOVA). The result of this study were as follows: First, Sustainable Development-oriented Creativity Character Education Program positively influenced young children`s environmental sensitivity. Second, Sustainable Development-oriented Creativity Character Education Program positively influenced young children`s respectful recognition of life. Considering the results of this study, Sustainable Development-oriented Creativity Character Education Program can positively contribute to the creative character education enhancing environmental sensitivity and respectful recognition of life of young children"s at education settings.
