The close connection between a particular political system and a specific belief in God is taken for granted since the beginning of the discussion about the relationship between theology and politics. There is a broad consensus, that the belief in triune God encourages construction of free, equal and caring human communities, while monotheism justifies world domination by a single ruler. But it is no exaggeration to say that there has been little discussion of what exactly the political system in accord with the faith in the triune God is. This essay proposes that social democracy which tries to realize the values of liberty, equality, and solidarity in real politics is a political system which `corresponds` to the way of human life required from the faith in triune God. That liberty, equality, and loving solidarity of the persons, the values derived from the relationship between the persons of triune God, and the values of social democracy are `in correspondence` with one another, would be presented. Social democracy can be seen as an `analogia` to the social life of triune God.
