The purpose of this study is to analyze the contents of online news articles for the last three years on the subject of happy housing, and to understand the direction of housing in society. Using Naver search engine, 75 news items were extracted from the articles of happy household, neighborhood, village, residential community, and community. As a result, 1) The core contents of the articles about happiness housing showed the direction that the ‘together’ and ‘quality of life’ were very dominant, and it was understood as contents of community, communication, housing expenses, safety, housing service, convenience facilities, and natural environment. 2) The spatial range of the stories was more the community or village space contents than the unit house, and the unit house was mainly the rental apartment house and the community house. The single house was rarely presented. 3) The residents related to happy housing are common people such as the general public or ordinary people, and small group residents are the youth, the elderly, and the specific subjects of the social underprivileged, who need the support to housing expenses and housing welfare.
