Report Errors
This study aims to recognize the absence of dominant ideology and a wave of nationalism in the World at the same time. The core of ideology as a ‘objectively necessary false consciousness’, the principle of social reflection of ideology, was changed during the 20. century. Ideology became an instrument of domination, losed its objectivity and has been connected with the loyality to the system of rule. In addition, the importance of transcendental logic in the traditional religion disappeared through the social secularization. In a socio-functional sense Ideology became a kind of secularized religion with no remarkable transcendental logic. This mental construction could be understand with Detelv Claussen’s concept of ‘Alltagsreligion(everyday-religion).’ The global wave of ethno-nationalism these days ist the example to show For the average citizens today under structural uncertainty of presence and future, these ‘secularized religious desires’ to understand the complexity of world, to make the meaning of life and to determine the direction of life must be satisfied. This necessity of human being should be accepted with more seriousness and that will be an important point to overcome the destructive potential of ethno-nationalism.
