This study aims to analyze the difference of importance and satisfaction of golf course membership using the IPA method, and present the research problem of constructing importance - satisfaction priority and importance - satisfaction matrix of selection attribute.
First, importance was higher than satisfaction in the importance-satisfaction verification, which was statistically significant.
Second, the priorities of importance-satisfaction were identified as follows. Priorities of importance were in the order of golf course condition, golf course flow control, booking management, caddy service, golf course difficulty, accessibility, clubhouse, price, membership management, subsidiary facilities, recognition of parent company. Priorities of satisfaction were in the order of clubhouse, caddy service, golf course difficulty, subsidiary facilities, golf course flow control, golf course condition, booking management, accessibility, membership management, recognition of parent company, and price.
The priorities of the attributes were in the order of clubhouse, caddy service, course difficulty, subsidiary facilities, progress, course status, reservation management, accessibility, membership management, recognition of parent company, and price.
Third, as a result of the IPA matrix composition, in the first quadrant included golf course condition, golf course flow control, booking management, caddy service, golf course difficulty, accessibility, and clubhouse. There were no attributes included in the second quadrant.
In the third quadrant included price, membership management, recognition of parent company, and there were subsidiary facilities in the fourth quadrant.
