This study aims to find out correlations between the characteristics of elementary science topic academic titles and the number of citations. Thus, this study analyzed the length of thesis titles, the structure of networks and the type of thesis titles, further analyzing their relations with the number of citations. Based on the analysis results, this study came to the following conclusions. Firstly, this study found out that when the number of citations was within the top 30, the correlation between the length of thesis titles and the number of citations was not statistically significant, and for 106 theses with over 20 citations in total, the correlation between the length of thesis titles and the number of citations was not statistically significant as well. Secondly, in the degree centrality analysis that reveals keywords from thesis titles in the field of elementary science, this study discovered that the keyword, ‘Education’, played the central role in the network and was connected with other keywords in many thesis titles. In the betweenness centrality analysis, it was found that the keyword, ‘Analysis’, became part of the title by playing a role as a gatekeeper in the network and becoming connected with several variables. Thirdly, it was found that in the type of thesis titles, the majority of theses had tiles about ‘Science Educational Theories’ and ‘Science Teaching and Learning Methods’, resulting in the most number of citations. The average number of citation was most in the type of thesis titles about‘Science Educational Theories’ and ‘Science Teaching and Learning Methods’ as well.
