Recently, the advances in display technology are requiring the development of high-resolution cameras for the implement of 4K or 8K. The high-resolution cameras is expected to reduce the pixel size to less than 1.0 μm in the limited chip area. The pixel depth becomes thin to improve the aspect ratio problem, it is expected that there will be problems such as sensitivity deterioration at long wavelength and increase of crosstalk. In this work, we propose the front reflector structure that enhances the absorption ratio as sensitivity in the 1.0 μm pixel pitch. For analysis of the sensitivity enhancement, we compared the typical pixel with the suggested pixel and confirmed that the absorption rate of the suggested pixel was improved by a maximum of 7.08%, 10.47%, and 29.28% for 3.0, 2.0, and 1.0μm pixel depths, respectively.
