The purpose of this paper is to reconsider the tendency of the rate of profit to fall by formalizing the effect technological change on the labor market.. In Marx's theory, the rate of profit depends primarily on the production of surplus value, and the magnitude of surplus value is determined by wage and the number of labor-power employed. Technological change can affect wage and the number of labor-power by changing the demand of capitalist for labor-power. In this respect, technological change is a major factor that determines the magnitude of surplus value and the rate of profit, consequently it is important to analyse the effect of technological change on the labor market in which wage and the number of labor-power employed are determined. In most cases of reconsidering the falling rate of profit, real or money wage is considered to be given exogenously. But real and money wage can be determined endogenously by drawing the labor demand function properly. In this paper, the tendency of the rate of profir to fall is reconsidered on the ground of these concepts; labor demand function and endogenous wage.
