The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of regular physical activity on social-psychological and physiological factors in workers with disability. Due to the limit of participants and the restriction of physical activity in work-site, the parallel designed study that is comparison of social psychological factor through survey and physiological factor change through short term(6 weeks) test were progress simultaneously. For social-psychological factors, it was analysed that the survey data of 260 disabilities(exercise group=130, non-exercise group=130) belong to the companies where proceed physical activity in 16 cities. For physiological factor change, it was analysed that the physical fitness and blood variable for 6 weeks before and after exercise participation in 19 disabilities(exercise group=8, non-exercise group=11) belong to A professional training center. Social-psychological factors were physical activity cognition, satisfaction, direction, subjective physical fitness, social cognition, attitude, work satisfaction, life satisfaction, and social relationship, etc.. Physiological factors were cardiopulmonary function, flexibility, grip strength and blood response(hs-CRP, IL-6, TNF-α, Total cholesterol, HDL-c, LDL-c, TG). The results were as follows: Exercise group showed positive tendency than non-exercise group in all area that include evaluation of exercise effect and work satisfaction as social-psychological factors. No interaction was shown in all variables of physical fitness. However, there was significant difference among the groups in FVC(forced vital capacity) and there was significant difference among the groups and the test occasions in FEV1(forced expiratory volume for 1 second). No interaction was shown in all variables of inflammatory markers. However, there was significant difference among the test occasions in TNF-α. In conclusion, regular physical activity would have a positive effect on variables of social-psychological factors, physical fitness and inflammatory markers in workers with disability. This suggests that application of systematic work-site physical activity should be done continuously in workers with disability.
