In this study, we discussed the method of storytelling education for emotional communication centering on speech. First, we explored the direction of storytelling education in modern society. The relationship between communication culture and storytelling in modern society was examined and the direction of storytelling education was suggested from the point of view of communication. Next, we analyzed the storytelling method for emotional communication centering on the experts’ speech. As a result of the analysis, we could confirm the storytelling method such as ‘utilization of historical events shared with the other party’, ‘introduction of an anecdote consistent with the purpose of the speech,’ and ‘self - exposure through personal confession of experience’. Finally, we suggested a storytelling training method for emotional communication. Specific education measures include ‘utilizing the experience of failures that brought about internal growth’, ‘A narrative flow concept that drives participants’ immersion’, and ‘considering rhetorical purposes of speech’.
