The aim of this thesis is to analyze the developmental qualities of Dokebi tales and to inquire into a plan of applying to an educative field through the analysis. The results can be summarized into three details. Firstly, Dokebi tales show three kinds of developmental qualities; selfcentric level, socialization level transferring from self-centric to deselfcentric stage, and de-selfcentric level which overcome the selfcentricity completely. Secondly, Dokebi tales can be made use of educatively in the aspect of accommodation. Dokebi tales which show a developmental quality of selfcentricity become an object of accommodation for children between 2 and 7 years old in preoperational period. Dekebi tales which show a socialization quality become an object of accommodation for children between 6 and 7 years old who should prepare for transference of socialization. Dokebi tales which shows an developmental quality of decentricity become an object of accommodation for children before 7 years old. Thirdly, as for an object of assimilation, Dokebi tales can be used educatively. Though Dokebi tales which children experienced in an early age become already an object of assimilation, they can be a valuable property for a medium to stimulate new developmental experience of elementary school students. Through Dokebi tales, they are able to proceed to a pretend play, making of imaginative poems, painting a picture, and various kinds of writing aside from making story, play activity.
