The linguistic life history of Korean(LLHK) is a new field which can be described as a combination of the knowledge of Korean language history(KLH) and Korean cultural elements. It has been often called the history of Korean linguistic culture. For identifying this new field, we need to focus on the part only concerning on Korean language, not the broad Korean linguistic culture. While KLH is originally meant for explaining the diachronic change of Korean language, LLHK is for shedding light on the diachronic change of Korean linguistic life. It can be classified into two components, the history of using Korean language(the usage history of Korean language) and the life history of targeting Korean language. The one can be contents of the subcategories of Korean language education, and it can be related to KLH in grammar education. The other can be direct contents of Korean culture education and also indirect contents of the subcategories of Korean language education, The education of LLHK should aim at understanding the cultural value of Korean language, relationship between KLH and LLHK, and also having positive attitude toward advancing in Korean language culture through understanding the facts that daily linguistic life is the building process of language culture.
