This research aims to study the Buddhist thought which appeared in Korean’s textbooks and Thai’s textbooks. The data in this research emphasize on only middle and high school’s textbooks. This study use the comparative study analysis theory and the result of this study can conclude as follow; 1. The Buddhist thought in Korean textbooks appeared the Mahayana Buddhist thought while in Thai textbooks appeared Hinayana Buddhist thought. In the Korean textbooks emphasis the altruism more than the charity doctrince. 2. The status of Buddhist in two countries is different. That is, nowadays the Buddhist thought is not conserved and in the textbooks didn’t mention many stories. Korea social is not concern about the Buddhist so must. While in Thailand the Buddhist though is still conserved in the social until now. We can say that, many traditional cultures and customs still base on Buddhist though.
