A spreadsheet is utilized to teach the spatial meaning of spherical coordinates to lower-division undergraduate students. It is designed for chemistry lab class and consists as fellows; elaborate the spherical coordinates related prior knowledge of learners, connect the prior knowledge to spherical coordinates, reflect and integrate knowledge using various position dependent functions such as atomic orbitals. To complete the procedure, it is required to construct graphs with coordinate elements, perform calculations using mathematical relationships, organize data through tables and graphs, transform 2D graphs to 3D figures, interpret and describe the findings. The designed activities were applied to 12 undergraduate students and we analyzed worksheets, post-test results and 5 volunteers' interviews. It is expected to practice the activities that are essential for doing chemistry as well as to understand spherical coordinates. In addition, students will learn how to engage functions, array and chart of a spreadsheet to their learning.
