장천공 등 혐기균에의 노출이 있는 환자에서는 드물지만혐기균에 의한 화농성 관절염이 발생할 수 있다. 저자들은반복적 장출혈이 있었던 환자에서 Bacteroides tetaiotamicron 에 의한 화농성 관절염을 경험하여 보고하는 바이다. 본 증례와 같이 장출혈과 장천공 등 혐기성 세균의 노출이 반복적으로 존재하는 환자에서 화농성 관절염이 발생하였을 경우혐기성 세균에 의한 감염의 가능성을 고려하여야겠다.
