For modern people, Working hours have been shortened, perceptions of health have been changed, and sports activities have increased their share of leisure activities. In addition, as a measure to solve the disagreement of individualism and communication between generations caused by the change of population structure such as the increase of one-person household, low birthrate and aging, the government said, As for the physical education policy, we have also issued a “Lifestyle-based National Sports Center. However, In order to effectively utilize public sports centers and increase their satisfaction, the needs and space of local residents who are using public sports centers should be increased along with expansion of quantitative supply and understanding of regional characteristics. It is necessary to understand the ultimate cause of the conflict that occurs in the company. Through the analysis of whether the community formation has changed from the past, the activating factors of the local community and the inhibiting factors, we present the activating factors of the local community in modern society. The public sports center as a local community space can play a role in modern society by personalizing and eliminating generational differences by promoting interaction among local residents and expanding the scope of individual activities to the local community.
