The increase rate of social vices and its various forms among adolescents in the society call for concern. This is evident in the high incidences of social vices among others. Previous studies had focused on factors predicting deviant behaviour among adolescents. However, little has been done to develop effective management therapies. This study, therefore, examined Multimodal and Redecision therapies as psychological interventions for managing deviant behaviour among adolescents in correctional centres in South-West, Nigeria. The moderating effect of gender and self-concept was also examined. A pretest-posttest control group quasi experimental design with a 3×2×3 factorial matrix was adopted. Fifty-two (Males = 23; Females = 29) adolescents in correctional centres were on that purpose selected from three states in the South-West, Nigeria. Participants were randomly assigned to Multimodal Therapy (MMT) (15), Redecision Therapy (RT) (22) and Control group (15). Treatment lasted eight weeks. Instruments used were Deviant Peer (r = 0.76) and Self-concept (r = 0.75) scales. Data were subjected to Analysis of covariance and Scheffe Post-hoc at the 0.05 level of significance. The results indicated that there was a significant main effect of treatment on the management of deviant behaviour among adolescents. There was a significant main effect of gender on deviant behaviour. The result also showed a significant main effect of self-concept on deviant behaviour. Multimodal and Redecision psychotherapies were effective in managing deviant behaviour among adolescents in correctional centres. Counsellors and social workers who are in correctional centres should adopt the two therapies to manage deviant behaviour among adolescents in correctional centres.
