This study aims to an analysis of the factors influencing farmers’ participation and income in agricultural cooperatives. With 138 sample size of farmers were selected by the multi-stage sampling procedure. Data was conducted to collecting data information with a semi-structured questionnaire. The first objective and the second objective were analyzed using Heckman two-stage model, respectively. The Heckman two-stage selection equation result (Probit selection) showed the factors that significantly influenced farmers’ decision to participate in agricultural cooperatives were gender, age, education, training. The Heckman two-step outcome equation result demonstrated that the factors were significant in influencing farmers’ income. In addition, it was estimated that income from farming households would be positively affected by higher education levels, including non-farming income and crop production as income sources, the more combined products produced, and the less credit loans they received.
