With the development of the modern tourism and accommodation industry, research on hotels has also increased. The hotel is one of the most representative commercial spaces. In the field of architecture and design, there has been numerous and complex research on the Hotel space and Hotel design aspects. However, it is also true that research accessibility has deteriorated due to the lack of analytical data on the research trend related to ‘Hotel space and design" in domestic hotels. To overcome this matter, we used the NetMiner4 and LDA topic modeling analysis software for logical approach and efficient analysis of the collected research data. In order to build a database of research, a total of 116 research papers were collected that using ‘hotel space’ and ‘hotel design’ as the main keywords through KCI(Korea Citation Index) web portal. As a result of LDA topic modeling analysis, The study of hotel space and design in Korea was divided into seven aspects. (1) Cultural Experience, (2) City Characteristics, (3) Consumption Patterns changing, (4) Internal Shapes, (5) Satisfaction, (6) Visual Characteristics, (7) Marketing. Based on the analysis results, the visual data such as word cloud, representative keyword distribution chart by subject and keyword network were also presented in this paper.
