This study was to investigate the effects of water bag exercise on low segment stabilization and kick power and speed in middle and high school taekwondo players in middle and high school taekwondo players. In order to achieve the purpose of this study, taekwondo player at D middle and high school, were selected at random and allocated 14 taekwondo player each for the Non Exercise group(NEG), Deficient Exercise group(DEG), Over Exercise group(OEG) and measured low segment stabilization and kick power and speed before and after the experiment. The neuromuscular training program for 12 weeks. The results of this study were as follows: First, As a result of analyzing the change of low segment stabilization according to water bag exercise, OEG was significantly improved compared to NEG and DEG. Second, As a result of analyzing the change of kick power and speed according to water bag exercise, OEG was significantly improved compared to NEG and DEG.
As conclusions, this study confirmed that the water bag exercise on low segment stabilization and kick power and speed in middle and high school taekwondo players. However, there is a need for more specific exercise programs to be developed for the continual improvement of athletic performance in athletics along with further studies to confirm the physiological benefits of those programs.
