Cadmium (Cd) pollution has been a noticeable issue in aquatic ecosystems due to increasing environmental concentrations of Cd resulting from industrial and human activities. In aquatic ecosystems, elevated temperatures influence physiological and reproductive mechanisms in fish. To investigate the effect of an increasing temperature on Cd toxicity, we analyzed the combined effects of Cd toxicity and temperature (rearing temperature of 26°C and heat stress at 34 °C) on antioxidant process of zebrafish (Danio rerio) embryos. The survival rate of zebrafish embryos decreased at relatively high Cd concentrations of 0.07 and 0.1 mg L<sup>-1</sup>.
