In this paper, inverted Topp-Leone (ITL) is considered in both one and two dimensions. Marshall and Olkin idea is used to introduce the bivariate inverted Topp-Leone (BITL) distribution with three parameters. Different properties of ITL and BITL distributions are discussed such as the mode and median. Moreover, the joint pdf, joint survival function, joint cdf, joint hazard function, product moments, marginal and conditional density are obtained explicitly in compact forms. Furthermore, it is showed that the BITL distribution is obtained from the Marshall and Olkin survival copula and a tail dependence measure is discussed. Both the maximum likelihood and Bayesian estimation are considered for the three unknown parameters under progressive Type II censored samples. Moreover, the exact fisher information matrix is also determined under progressive Type II censoring.
