The purpose of this research is to analyze the impact of the logistics performance index (LPI) of RCEP signatories on China’s foreign trade, in order to help promote China’s logistics and export expansion strategy. Therefore, based on the gravity model, this research analyzes the impact of 6 influence variables and 4 sub-indicators of LPI on the logistics performance of 15 RCEP allies and on China’s exports. The results of the analysis are as follows. First, the LPI of RCEP countries is positively correlated with China’s export volume. Secondly, the average LPI of developed countries in RCEP signatories is higher than that of ASEAN countries. Thirdly, among the 4 sub-indicators of LPI, tracking has the greatest impact on China’s foreign trade, followed by logistics infrastructure, and logistics service quality. Finally, in RCEP developing countries, the quality of logistics infrastructure and customs efficiency are the main reasons for the decline in logistics performance. Therefore, the following points are put forward according to the results of this study. First, the quality of transportation logistics infrastructure in RCEP developing countries should be improved and the construction of international major logistics channels in RCEP regions should be promoted. Secondly, transnational corporations should be encouraged to cooperate, strengthen technical support, and improve the level of economic management in RCEP developing countries. Thirdly, international logistics cooperation should be carried out to improve the level and competitiveness of logistics services in RCEP areas.
