This study examines the appearance of the village community at the time reflected in Pansori works and the issues of the community perceived by Pansori writers. Thus, in, this study tried analyzing the writer's gaze toward Pansori works, including the shape of the surrounding characters and the protagonist. As a result, a life/economic community, an emotional community, and even a consciousness community appeared. In addition, it can be seen that the community that the Pansori writers had in mind was a community in the traditional sense where members shared their lives and showed emotional and conscious solidarity. Excluding specific individuals could also be understood as an extension of that. In addition, it is believed that Pansori writers reflect the perception of the problems of the village community at that time, which was difficult to solve with the method of exclusion alone. There will always have been issues of poverty within the village community and the emergence of individuals aiming for a specific economic value would have also been a problem. In this regard, more and more flexible internal relationships in the community should have been considered by respecting the individual's voice. This perception was also seen in the work of Pansori. Strictly speaking, Pansori is not a communal genre in the true sense of having oral narrators and a beneficiary audience. However, when exploring the works and paying attention to the shape of the characters and the descriptive gaze, it can be seen that Pansori writers are showing their own perspectives on all community issues: they are considering the changing world while placing importance on the traditional community.
