This paper aims to reveal the limitations of Heidegger ’ s thought from the perspective of political philosophy associated with the confrontation against totalitarianism, which is the starting point of Arendt. In particular, I would like to critically examine the problem of Heidegger’s philosophy, comparing it with topics of care, others, death and phenomenological humanism, which these two thinkers were interested in. In other words, I would like to consider how the moral and political problems that can arise when the philosophical vessel loses its link with others and neighbors and is far from socio-political. From the perspective of Arendt ’ s political philosophy. Heidegger devoted himself only to the confrontation with Western metaphysics, and did not escape the limits of the original ethics, and could not afford to think about the ethical and political responsibilities revealed in his relationship with others.
