Studies on histoty of Gaya has been enormously developed last 30 years. But history of Gaya, especially 4th century, is not yet clear Since the lack of historical records. In Chinese records, history of korean peninsula called “Byunhan”, early state of korea, exists until third century on Sam Guk-Ji and does not exist on Jin-Seo. After 4th century, we couldn’t find any records about “ByunHan” on Chinese records. We could only find the records of late 5th century about Gaya in “Samguk sagi”. However, It does not mean the severance of Gaya’s history. we could find clear evidence of Gaya on the surface of monument of king Gwanggaeto the great. we could also find 4th century historical records of Gaya and their existence in “Nihon Shoki”. In case of “Allaguk”, one of states of Gaya, many traces are existing on “Nihon Shoki”. Before the third century, early state of Haman was called “Anyaguk” in Chinese records. In the monument of king Gwanggaeto the great and Nihon Shoki, the early state had been inscribed as “Allaguk”. It means not only shifting from “Anyaguk” to “Allaguk” but also political developing of this state. Therefore, it is predictable that the other early states of “Byunhan” also had similar developing process. Even though, twelve countries of “Byunhan” could not be unified as one ancient kingdom, they made progress to more developed states. This shift from “Anyaguk” to “Allaguk” was triggered by the “War of Posangpalkuk” which means war of eight coastal states. After this war, endemic pottery culture of Haman had been emerged in this region. Tihs refined pottery culture gives us a strong evidence of “Anlaguk” as a developed political state.
